Rhonda's Wicked Red Pen
Destination Wyoming

Day 1: Starting at Gardiner, Montana, explore Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons; there is more to see than "Old Faithful" - moose, grazing in the heart of Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming; bison, sauntering up the "east side" road, ignoring stopped traffic; Tower Falls and Yellowstone River overlook; and bald eagles, soaring over the Snake River
Day 2: South of Jackson, Wyoming, follow the Hoback River through a steep canyon - home to great blue herons and pronghorn antelope; just southeast of Sand Springs (where hundreds of wagons followed the Oregon Trail), spot a bald eagle that built her nest on a telephone pole because there are no trees in the area; at Rock Springs, Wyoming, take WY-430 south, winding through arid plains, surrounded by high cliffs, fallen rocks and deep washes
