Serenity Trail
We develop many relationships throughout our lives; a few are brief and inconsequential, while others leave lasting impressions. Set in modern times, Serenity Trail follows a journalist and her photographer partner as they travel from one locale to another, meeting a variety of individuals along the way. Although her career is an interesting one, Rachel DeForest often finds herself looking back to another era and a friendship that has withstood the test of time.

As each chapter opens, Rachel reminisces with her lifelong friend - Eva, before embarking on another assignment with Josh Anders. While there are some romantic elements, Serenity Trail isn't a typical romance with a fairytale ending; rather it's a reflection of life. You're invited to join Rachel, Josh and a host of others as they journey from the Caribbean to Alaska to the "land down-under" and back again.

"Our Family Favorites" Cookbook (unpublished)
Don't let those favorite recipes from childhood disappear. Anyone can create a personalized cookbook by simply searching Gram's recipe box or asking Mom, other relatives and friends. Be sure to include their memories, too; a brief sentence or paragraph with each recipe enhances the pleasure of reading (and using) them in the future.

The year I compiled this collection of 153 recipes, I had copies printed and comb-bound as Christmas gifts for my extended family and friends at a local copy shop.  It was probably one of the most popular items I've ever given.  My youngest nephew was fond of letting me know when he prepared dishes for his college roommates, using this cookbook.
Now, That's a Hardship (unpublished)
Written as part of a freshman English class assignment (more than 40 years ago), these verses reveal the challenges of camping with bears and other crazy travel experiences. Sequels include: But, It wasn't So Bad and Yet, It was Worth It.
